A Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in Florida is someone who has completed their graduate degree in counseling and is in the process of gaining supervised experience to become fully licensed. It's an exciting stage where they are refining their skills under the guidance of a licensed professional, bringing fresh energy and up-to-date knowledge to their work. Once they've completed the required hours of supervised practice and passed the necessary exams, they will become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), which allows them to practice independently. Both are passionate about helping others, with interns being closely supported as they work toward their full licensure!
